Re: 2000 Crown Interceptor won't start fuel pump won't run

Thanks for the advice. The ground to the relay is ok. As stated the only thing missing is the B+ to the relay direct from the pump fuse. This line seems to go from the fuse box on the passenger side headed back to the firewall.
The line going to the relay on the dirvers side is also coming from the firewall and definately does not go forward from the location. Unless it goes from the firewall thru the fender forward to the bumper I don't think it is the source but I will look anyway. Since jumping the connection I only have the number 4 miss problem so I think it is just the one wire. The data I have has location numbers on the wiring but I have not yet really invested time to decode the information and indeed maybe not on the CD, if it is I think they hid it haha.

Re: 2000 Crown Interceptor won't start fuel pump won't run

well i have a 2000 cvpi aswell with a currently bad fuel pump...and i tested all that you'all have said in here...and i notice theres no sound in the statrting of the fuel pump..but it sounds that your 2000 cvpi is having some sort of electronic problems since you say theres no power to the fuel cut off switch..becuse if it was the fuel pump that was bad there should still be power to the emergancy fuel cut off switch...like mine does have power to it ..and sorry for the very late comment of this topic......
