W H A T E V E R! Now I'm sure you do see hotter girls around alot, so do I, so does almost every one. But, thats not the point. First of all, she's a pop star. You could have the un-dieing worship of many many young boys all around the world. 50% of the world's population would reply "Britney Spears!? Really! Wow!" But thats not even what the poll is about. It's asking if you find her attractive. The way I look at it is this, It's not Britney the pop singer, it's not the ditsey girl she portrays on TV, its the female with very good genetics and all the proper equipment. Sure there are others with better genetics (or more makeup) but so... Sense we are on a car board lets look at it this way. You see a F550 every day, do you think a 1st gen MR2 looks sweet? Now you can use any cars in there, I just picked two off the top of my head... I think you get my drift.

I agree, everybody has seen girls who're better looking. Britney's celebrity just means that we all know her and can give opinions. Nobody gives a shit if so and so at school is hotter because we have no idea who it is.
Also, being a famous celebrity kind of elevates someone above the rest. We see Britney doing all kinds of things that we don't normally see girls doing, such as 'singing' on stage and doing provocative dance routines in videos. Fame is attractive. When she first came on the scene I was drawn to her. Its the eyes that do it, she is a very attractive girl. IMO her looks have faded somewhat but I still find her attractive. She seems really dumb, though.
