All of it is great. It does have it's up's and down's though. But primarily it is great.:bandit:

Yea all that stuff is great, but here is what I really like about it: meeting new people that have the same passion and love for imports that I do.

True...And it's not just imports, all cars!

The love for automobiles is a very addictive drug! It turns into a love, and then you have a passion for all cars!

this is for the guy that thinks that drag racing isnt racing. First of all drag racing for the most part is how good you can build engines, and how good you are at pulling out every last bit of hp possible. And if you dont think that dragracing is hard then something is wrong with u, first you cant make mistakes when you dragrace, you either get it right the first time or buy your way back into the second round, second you can make up for your mistakes within 10 sec like you can in rally racing or indy racing, its do or die! oh and i like the scene mainly because im the odd ball with my old domestic!

alright..

the leader of my fleet of vehicles (which consists of 4) is a muscle car which i won't brag about. but i have a transbrake, a bigblock with roughly 760 ft/lbs of torque, and it runs 10.60's on 10.5 inch tires in the 1320 ft sprint.
the suspension is stock, 35 year old technology, and the car hooks EVERY TIME. if it didn't, i wouldn't win races. it has good brakes, and probably could outstop most new cars if i had too...these are there because they are the rules, not because i have a passion for slowing down the fastest.
when i launch this car at 5000 rpm and both front tires lift about 5-6 inches off the ground, i am no longer just racing. i am literally fighting the car to stay in a straight line. i don't know whether it's skill or stupidity, but it is the most challenging form of racing i have ever done.
any idiot can take a new car and weave dangerously in and out of traffic...this is what go karts are for. when you can spend a few hours extracting the most power out of your car, take it to the local race hangout and show everyone else who their daddy is, then you get the bragging rights. no one cares if you can do the u-turn at the end faster than i can...i beat you to it, and that's all that matters

But you have to admit that Rally racing is harder than drag racing.

I like the import scene here in Houston and its HUGE, a lot of "ricers" but I still like it, I drive up and down Westhiemer (A popular strip in houston) just to ride with some of the nicest cars around, it's weird but I see cars differently than before, I'm black but I love the so-called "asian scene", I am friends with a car show model so I go to a lot of import car shows and its a lot of fun.

well

well, the only rally racing i have ever done is in a field in my dart vs my buddy in his nova
it's generally easy, you just have to know what to expect.
but i believe that rally racing is also the most fun you can have in a vehicle, and maybe what makes it fun is it's difficulty
have you ever rally raced? in a competition or something? i wish i knew where to go to get into it, but it seems like not much of it happens in canada
