Re: I fixed my turbo problem...just one last kink to figure out!!!!

ok get a boostcontroler, either make it, or buy it ASAP! then hook up the j-pipe nipple to the inlet on the Boost Controler, then the outlet of the boost controler to the wastegate... it'll make you happy!

Re: I fixed my turbo problem...just one last kink to figure out!!!!

Alright well I will order one off of joepmbc.com...they seem fairly cheap and I know that there pretty popular.

I work tomorrow (@ Lowes) so I will buy some stuff that I can use to make my own MBC until I buy it, I hate waiting for shipping.

Thanks again blackcrow for the diagram...LOL...I always forget that I have a chiltons manual...

"get an mbc plug the inlet to your mbc to the nipple on the jpipe and the outlet of the mbc to your wastegate."

"Black99GST ok get a boostcontroler, either make it, or buy it ASAP! then hook up the j-pipe nipple to the inlet on the Boost Controler, then the outlet of the boost controler to the wastegate "

hmm good advice man

boost controlers are very simple... one of the many things the ebay brands do just fine at. go for it!

Re: I fixed my turbo problem...just one last kink to figure out!!!!

Just get a MBC, a JoeP one is like 30 bucks, and throw it inbetween the wastgate and the j-pipe and you should be gravy.

Re: I fixed my turbo problem...just one last kink to figure out!!!!

Alright, well hopefully it will come in tomorrow or monday but when it does, what boost level should I set it at...what would be a safe level?

I know 1g's from the factory are set at ~10 psi...so is ~15 psi a good level or can I go higher.

The only mods I have are just open element and I am running just a downpipe.

So what level should I set at?

Thanks to all!

Re: I fixed my turbo problem...just one last kink to figure out!!!!

hey, going back to that diagram, posted above. I think my wastegate solenoid is unplugged...

is this a good thing?!?

my car seems to surge really bad under full boost... (almost like fuel cut)
looking at that diagram, I actually think alot of my vacuum lines are messed up... anybody got a clearer pic of that (one I can print and use to trace my lines)

Sorry thats the clearest one I have. If you save it and actually print it to a full sheet 8.5x11 its pretty decent. I printed it up just to have for stock setups when people don't wanna get rid of shit... I think that if your BCS has no vaccum lines running to it then you better have a MBC in there somewhere else or its gonna go crazy and not know whats going on.
