Re: Noise from wheel area
I sent you an e-mail asking for additional info. But to answer your question on re-using cover gasket. I have re-used before with no problem. Just use Permetex Ultra black for extra insurance. Release the "C" clips on axles (inside diff cover). Unless we are talking about a 3/4 or 1 ton (which I forgot to ask in e-mail). Full Floating axles are completly different. I need to know that as well, is it a 1500, 2500, or 3500?

Re: Noise from wheel area
Well I replaced the right front wheel bearing, but I still hear noise. I the cab it sounds like the right front but,If I lean out the door it sounds like it's coming from the back. I did have the rear end let go and repaired. They didn't change the wheel bearings, maybe some metal got down the tubes
. I guess I'll get the rear bearings changed and then get a new left front while Im at it.

Re: Noise from wheel area
Well it seems that I have a warped left rear rotor. Any body use the drlled and slotted rotors? I saw a set of 4 with pads for $199 + $40 for shipping on e-bay. I think they were Zinc plated.
