1)Are these taillights on the NSX?
Here are the NSX taillights. Yes, there is a row of LED lights all the way across the wing. They serve as the third brake light. However, in this picture the exhaust is incorrect and the "Type R" sticker is inappropriate. Just leave off the badging (except for the "H" logo in the middle) and see below for the exhaust pipes.

Credit: Guiddy

Another excellent example, but from a different angle.

2)What rims do you want on the S2000?
These, please: Mugen MF10s. Don't care what size.

3)What does the muffler look like on the NSX?
Tragic as it is, I think this is the best pic I can find to show the stock exhaust. They did get changed to round pipes later, like the blue car above, but I like these.

4)Is this what the front end looks like on the S2000?
Here's the area you're asking about, but more from the front than the side...

The angle is a little high on this one...

5)What is the logo for the NSX?

Silver S2000:
check out:

http://johnmtgy.tripod.com/images/honda.gif

It's a poor quality photocopy of a line drawing (no shading) that has been shaded. If I have the time, I'll redo the scan of the shaded one and maybe if I have scads of time I'll color them. What colors do you want them if I do? The way I figure it, you'd enjoy the crappy one while the even better looking one comes along.

Guiddy:
Who wouldn't want an S2000? It has a start button! A START BUTTON!!!

P.S. Silver S2000, you gotta teach me how to upload images... I tried attach file and it didn't show up when I clicked "preview post"

Constructive critique...

First off, it looks great. You got the prespective pretty much down. Most of what I'm going to say will be about the details, but you know, it's all about the details.
  • Make both cars lower. You can do most of this with shading. With the NSX, you can make it vaguely lumpy and say it's the exhaust pipes winding around down there.
  • Make the NSX's rear tires wider. If you leave the left edge where it is and move the right edge all the way to the edge of the body, it'd be perfect.
  • Don't use corner lights on the NSX. The Honda version has side markers. Need a pic?
  • Make the black grill thing between the tailpipes on the NSX bigger, and have it curl under a bit.
  • The side view mirror on the NSX should be on a little arm. I think you had it that way in your preliminary sketch. That was just right.
  • Don't square-off the sections of taillights on the NSX. In real life, you can't see those divisions until the lights come on.
  • My gut says the side scoops on the NSX's door should be higher. I'll have to look this one up...
  • The S2000 is nearly perfect. Lower it, and it's done. I would request, if you can, that you let the picture extend a bit more to the right. Just far enough to see the side marker and the "S2000" script on the side.

I'm not trying to be mean or nit-picky, you know. Just want to help you make it good.

Thanks for the critique. A lot of your points are valid...
Unfortunately, most of the detail changes are going to force me to do a total redraw... I'll assign a difficulty rating in smilies. 1 = difficult 5 = easy
1) Lower the cars...
I can do that with the NSX, but the S2000 is going to be tricky...
2) Widen the NSX's tires...
I was already thinking of doing this
3) Remove corner lights...
I need a pic...
4) Side view mirror needs arm...
Easy, peasy, Japanesey,
5) Don't square off the edges of the tailights
Ditto, but I need to know what writing is in the center. All the pics I have say Acura.
6) Side scoop higher...
I thought I got this one right, but I can recheck.
7) Move the S2000 over so you can see the logo
Incredibly difficult. You see I'm using 9x12 paper and already all the space is taken up. I would have to completely redraw it.

Your points are all great, and its great to hear a lover of these cars call them "nearly" perfect. I'm signing off to go to sleep. I'll be back on in the morning (7:30 EST).

You skipped the "black grill thing."

*smacks forehead*
Why that I did...
I couldn't find a single good pic of the underside esp. the black grill. There was one but it looked aftermarket.

Now don't think I don't want to do this. It's just going to take sometime to make these changes. Remember I was the one who said I wanted to do this. It's fun doing stuff for other people. I just hope when I get done with it that you don't say that it didn't come out the way you wanted. I want it to be as perfect as possible. Just keep feeding me my mistakes. After all, I can't see most of them....

P.S.
I love that little guy on my "WORK!!!!" post
P.P.S.
I stayed up to answer your post at the expense of sleep. I'll prolly hate myself in the morning.
P.P.P.S
But it was worth it!

I'll give you a couple shots of my car. I have shots of front and rear. But I want to edit out my lisence plate. Whenever I do that it comes out to be 1.5mb which is too big to be placed in my free server.

Those pics are actually very helpful. Not the interior ones (not to say those aren't friggin' awesome). Thanks for posting them man. Only thing is that it now takes FOREVER to load this page (so many excellent, but large pics).

I have high speed connection so I didn't notice this potential problem. Anyways I took out the interior ones. I really need a paint program. I want to cut down on the file sizes as well. Also I need to find a way to edit pics that have lisence plate number on. I don't want to post lisence plate number over internet for security reasons.

F20C:
Loading them the first time took a while, but I have the cache set really high on my computer so it doesn't have to load and reload all the time. It just store them. As for a paint program, Paint Shop Pro 7 is what I use and it's excellent and cheap ($99). It does most of the things that PhotoShop does.

Silver S2000:
I realized that to lower the cars All I really need to do is raise the horizon line and make the underside a little "cluttered." That's going to be a lot easier than I thought...
