Re: RIP Steve Irwin

Shit.
I say do it. If it was his will, then it must be done.
He'll be missed.

Sounds like bullshit to me. They just want to show the video. Who would want others to see them dying? Some sick fcks, that's who. That's my stand.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin

I just heard that the stingray that killed him, was buried under the sand, so no one saw it. So, its really nothing he did, no one saw it and when he swam over it, it got startled and stabbed him.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin

Yeah, I don't think most people know that, so they blame him, for being stupid and stuff. Sure, he put himself in some dangerous situations, but this wasn't by his mistake.

Where did you hear that at? The poison of the barb stopped his heart... I don't think leaving the poisonous thing in would have helped.

I've been stung in the foot by a small stingray, it is by far the most painful thing I have ever endured, and this was like a baby stingray.

Anything that breaches the heart leads to instant death, unfortunatley.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin

yea i can under stand y that killed him, the hole the barb put in his heart, combined with the venom/bacteria. also when u pull those out it causes even more damage. i think he had so much adrenalin that he was alive just long enough to pull the barb out.
and they declined the state funeral because they think he is a regular guy and that he would want to be treated as such.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin

He didn't pull it out, the medics or whoever was helping him pulled it out. I guess they thought that would be better. I'm pretty sure he died instantly.

And I don't blame his family for deciding to go with a private funeral. Less press and people who didn't actually know him. May he rest in peace.

There is also less chance there will be a jerk off who is trying to ruin a moment and shout "Go Stingrays!" during a prayer or something.

With todays world I wouldn't doubt someone would do that.

You're absolutly right. I don't know about other places, but here in St. Louis, they had to actually enact a law prohibiting PROTESTS 1 hour before and 1 hour after funerals. Apparently, there have been people protesting about the war during soldier's funerals! HOW F-ing ridiculous is that? Makes you wonder what the world is coming to these days.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin

Yeah, its literally unbelievable what some people do. Just when you think people can't get any more ignorant or dumber, they prove you wrong. Its really sad. What ever happened to natural selection? Get rid of the dumb ones and let the smart, strong ones survive.
