I very much doubt it is a chop, just look at the reflections in the car. Damn hard to do that in photoshop, there is a reflection of a sign in the first pic that starts in the car and continues through to the trailer - now tell me its fake!!!

Honey I wrecked the car...

She: "Honey I wrecked the car"
He: "Oh nevermind I'll buy another one and use the old one as a trailer..." :hehehe:

It is real (no "Photoshop conversion"), I saw that car before.
The trailer is not much use: its empty weight alone almost exceeds the allowed towing capacity of the car
(a 4wd VR6 VW Passat, IIRC).
The exhausts are left on the trailer for dramatic effect: it is pretty weird to overtake this thing
and find out there's an identical car towing it.

The car and trailer are real!

A guy from Switzerland has built this trailer. He bought a crashed Passat an cut the front off. The trailer is a multimedia station with DVD-Player, Playstation and a tapping plant for a fine beer!

1998 VW Passat 3B Variant
- scratchbuilt front bumper & rear bumper
- 125 HP
- KW thread chassis
- lowered (front: 80mm/rear: 60mm)
- 19" Work Equipe rims (front: 245/35, rear: 275/30)
- etc.

Trailer
- Tapping Plant for beer with run cooling
- Bar
- Playstation
- Video Beamer
- CD/DVD Player
- 17" monitor
- etc.

I hope you understood everything, I translated the modifications with babelfish. (altavista.com)

Maybe I could scan the report about the car & trailer that appeared in the "VW Speed", a german tuning magazine.
