Thanks again all! The Cragars are from the AMT '65 Malibu wagon kit. I'm also working on a phantom Yenko convertible to accompany this one so I'll hopefully have that danged valance issue tackled! I love this kit!!

To get round the same problem on the AMT Dodge Challenger model that I built I glued the valance on right at the beginning with Epoxy Resin for strength (check fit issues with the bumper before doing though!)and when it had set I filled and then sanded the imperfections for a better finish.
