what about the head gaskets in the z24 2.2 ecotecs... are they reknown to blow.. or leak ??

thats the 95-97 2.2 OHV motors are notorious for those, however the ringlands on the ecotec motor seem to be giving out when guys are turbo charging their engines. But thats nither here or there.

i just wanted to say that you dont have a z24 cause its a 2.2 motor. and props on playing tennis. here in florida i know what you mean about the heat 95 degrees with 95% humidity. its killer. also my temp gauge is alos about 2 mm past the line. thats my two sense

Well it is a z24..its a 2002 2.2 litre ecotec engine.
What you'r saying that its not a z24 ??
