Had a 96 Katana 600. Got a ticket doing 130 in a 55, (was actually doing about 160 but couldn't use that as an argument that the radar gun was wrong). My then girlfriend found out, and never trusted me (to drive reasonably on the bike) after that. Got married, she got pregnant, bike had to go.
Almost bought a 05 Honda Interceptor before I bought my maro, actually was going to pick it up in about 1 hour and some guy got totally nailed on a Harley in front of my office. I'm not superstitious or anything, but took that as a sign to stay with 4 wheels. 2 things I love and miss terribly... smoking and riding a motorcycle.

damn jim that sucks. sorry to hear that.
and wright....that was with my s10 when i had it...i got pissed ...threw it in reverse and yeah...the floor is slick so it just kinda happened lol.

That's alright, same thing just happened to me a few weeks ago when a hinge pin on my clutch link broke backing out of the garage and the clutch dumped and roasted 'em up. oops
