So then they are illegal. You can't have something that is sorta kinda legal.

So then how do they get off saying they are legal? Or is it just for like track stuff?

The state there in is allowing them to get away with it But the laws there violating is on a federal level.

Thats really weird. Hmm well I sent him an email asking if they were legal. And he replied they were 100% legal. I don't know how the feds let that go. I don't mind I'm just curious.

Ask him how there getting around the EPA requirement for OBD2 because anything imported 96 and up have to meet that?

At present there's no certified EPA OBD2 system for skylines.

I got my car from MotoRex back when they were actually doing things right.

It's a 95 anything 95 and under has to have a OBD1 system which all GT-R's under 95 have.

It was 46,000, out the door with all the paperwork and everything, had 30k miles and some advan RG's, greddy exhaust, and HKS intake pods.

Couldnt you just take the OBD2 and convert it to a OBD1 in 96+ models?

Nope federal lasw say's it has to be obd2. That's one of the things MotoRex got in trouble for.
