Wink You guys just cost me 30 bucks!

I was afraid the VeilSide MR-S Spyder would be another hack job by Fujimi requiring a whole lotta putty and cutting...but NOOOO....it's a correct body and cool wheels...I don't care if it doesn't roll! So the order is off to HLJ already. Dayum...this forum's gonna cost me dearly.

Here's my stock MR-S w/some Watanabe's thrown on it for good measure:

Can anyone (other than Veyron) guess where this cool but incorrect LHD dash came from?

Nope. It is from a roadster, take a close look at the vent rings and the panel above the console...

Ahh... :o I should have looked more closely at the Miata dash. I can see lots of differences now...

I know what it's from... but don't know the maker. Audi TT roadster.... diecast. :coolguy:

That's it. Gotta love $6 diecast models that you can rob parts from! BTW it's from Maisto. The rims are cool on the TT as well, I've got a Welly TT coupe that will get the full treatment someday. Doubtful we'll ever see a TT in plastic, Audi wants triple licensing fees that would make kits cost far too much.

Question Nice TT's

Can a kit that you really, really, really want, cost too much? Nice job on the MR, my Veilside is on order from Hobby Search(cheaper).
