i saw a supercharged mustang doing donuts blowing flames out every once in a while at these races i went to. i almost pissed my pants in awe, hearing the supercharger whine and seeing tire smoke and flames everywhere. but yeah that was running pipes from the headers back, loud as hell. too bad those races dont go on anymore ever since some greek dude brought like 50 of his family members (no joke i swear to god like 50) to watch him race his damn tiburon and lost control, didnt stop, and launched his car into a dried up pond. theres been security at that place ever since. sorry to hijack this thread. yeah flames and stuff kick ass

They make ALS (Anti-Lag System) for some cars, or so I've heard. It keeps the turbine spinning so there's no lag, but obviously it couldn't be all that great on the engine and it'll backfire alot. I need to look it up some more.

they designed that for the new hydrogen rotary turbo. it powers the turbo electrically at low rpms im told..

free flowing exhaust andrunning a little rich works great. at night the underside of my f250 is like a light show because the dual exhaust shoot an 8 inch flame out back and forth. its kinda cool and im thinking of redoing the exhaust so it exits on the passenger side.away from the gas tank lol. this is only at idle or when the revs drop after being hard on the gas.

then i put them back. i take them off when i feel like being super loud.
