Re: Leaking Anitfreeze ?

The gasket set, which includes the upper manifold gaskets, permatex, etc... will run from about $40 for the cheap set to about $90 for the more expensive set. They are both Felpro gaskets, so neither set is bad. I used the $40 sets on the 3 that I have replaced and all three are still working fine. The set I put on my own engine have about 40,000 miles on them and they are still doing great. The only other thing I would suggest you get is a set of fuel injector o-rings. I don't remember if you have to pull the injector rail to get to the intake bolts, but if you do, it is good to replace the injector o-rings while you are there. You can see, most of the cost in replacing them is in the labor. That is why I said "if you have the time", since it may take a day or two over a weekend to install them. But, if you take your time and do it right, you will easily save yourself a few hundred dollars. Good luck.

Re: Leaking Anitfreeze ?

Yes that's what i'm trying to do, i'm in New York (manhattan) and i went to a couple of places and the price is around 250-300 so i'm defintely trying to ave some money. I might just have to get a manual and try it myself.
