Re: It's finally here!

Beautiful Stealth Polygon. And I would hardly call a Stealth a Mopar but I guess to everyone their own. Nice to see you moving up in the world from one turbo to two. lol

And as everyone starts hearing about more and more people on here buying 3/S's I should hope they start listening. As I along with others have brought warning of of the 3/S take over........

Re: It's finally here!

Nice Stealth. I always preferred it over the 3000GT's. Don't get me wrong, I'd take a VR-4 3000GT in heartbeat but I always preferred the American-branded Japanese cars to the Japanese-branded ones such as the 2nd gen Eclipse/Talon. But nice car anyway. And one question, what year did they start and stop putting 4-wheel-steering in the Stealth/3000GT?

Re: It's finally here!

Not until they stopped making them in 99. 4ws was in all Vr4's 91-99. Although it was only 1.5 degreed turn in the back which many say is unnoticable and only adds more weight and is another thing that requires the fluid to be changed.

He complained that it only came in auto. Then his came and it was an auto anyway, he thought it was going to be a manual but he didn't seem to care. I'll bet it had more to do with price.

I knew someone was going to ask this question at one point. The GTC requires too much work to really be used everyday right now. I have been driving daily for a few weeks now getting and average of 30MPG even though I do beat on it. However, I can hear that at least one wheel bearing is bad and so is a CV joint. Also, the suspension is shot. Besides, the Stealth is already stupid fast for a daily, the GTC is just pretty quick.

To really be a daily driver it would need new wheel bearings, a new CV joint, new struts, springs, sway bars, new power steering pump, steering rack, and an alignment.

As for completeing the project itself:

Fuel system
Ignition system
Intercooler
Intake
Exhaust
Turbo upgrade
Custom header
LSD
ACT clutch
Lightened flywheel
Interior
Suspension
Body & paint
Brakes

I'm sure I left some stuff out.

Well, the crappy thing is that guy got fired yesterday so I don't know how I'm going to set up a race now. I'll find a way though.

Also, the reason for the huge parts list is because I plan to make it run about 350WHP. Really it would be fine if I just fixed the wheel bearings. The rest really isn't that bad.

Ah, this is the true reason most people can't afford a 3S. The car and the babe cost money, got to pick one or the other.

Haha, mine fight for attention constantly I just figure I can't afford either, so might as well keep both around.
