Yeah. Back when they were all boxy, they had the problem of flipping over and crashing into each other a lot, hence why they went to the newer style in the 90's. IT was a dangerous time to be a cop back then, you could just be cruising down the highway, pass a speeder, flip on your lights and chase him. Then you hit an ant or nothing at all and BAM you're doing barrel rolls with 28 of your buddies behind you. Just watch the documentary "The Blues Brothers" as proof. :-D
