Al's logic of #21R being the Highcroft car makes sense. We'll have to keep that one alive until we can get a conclusive answer from one side or the other.Photos are great - I love the detail! >8^) ER |

Re: McLaren at Goodwood
Le Man, nice pics!
I should also add that Linda Mansfield e-mailed me back on June 2nd saying she forwarded my message to Highcroft. Still no response... |

Re: McLaren at Goodwood
Can I join in too?
This is from the 2004 Goodwood festival, not the recent one. Seeing as BMW doesn't have pics of this year up, I suppose these will have to do for now. Picture as it came, resized to 2mb with borders and press tag attached. Original 4mb file available, contact me for it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../P0016295l.jpg Borders and press tag removed, 1.7mb file. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../P0016295m.jpg Again, new pics shall be posted as soon they're made available. (P.S. Sorry if everyone already has these, I'm a semi-lurker, not really that well kept up with who has and posted what.) EDIT: Oh and Le Man, great pics. You wouldn't happen to know if that EXP Speed 8 in the background is the (EXACT) original or a replica would you? So far I've "discovered" 3 number 7s, in 3 different countries on the SAME date, and would really like to figure which one/where the original is. Thanks. |

Re: McLaren at Goodwood
Thanks for the pics! I have yet to see a GTR in person. Hopefully one day I will, my favorite iteration of the F1.

You wouldn't happen to know which exact car was at the '04 Goodwood FOS? The car I've seen (reportedly still in 'aus) had an '04 Goodwood sticker on it. Check out http://dhoffmann.deviantart.com for some shots I took, and I'm sending a .zip of a fair few shots taken on the same day. |

I couldn't even imagine the hard time we'd be having here if all the F1 GTRs looked identical!I got the pictures in the e-mail. They are STUNNING!!! Wow, the Speed 8 looks so amazing in that setting. Is that a private residence or some place Bentley owns? Many thanks for the pictures, they look great. I don't know if Le Man sent you his pics yet, but they are very detailed and great pictures. Seeing the mechanicals underneath the skin is really something...I have a lot of respect for that car. |
