thanks.

also i know they talk about gaining hp by getting rid of the "parasitic" affects, so does that mean that ill gain hp, but lose power in my a/c and powersteering??

does anyone have the aem pulley kit for a 4th gen accord?? is it a 1 or 2 pulley kit? and pics if any

I've got two and there both free.

1. Remove you power steering belt, same concept as underdrive pulleys but instead of lowering parasitic drag from all you components you are eliminating it from one. This will increase you stearing effort, but personally I think the stock stearing effort is to soft, so I like it better with out the power stearing.
2. Advance your timing a couple of degrees. You must use 92 octane if you do this.

I've done this on two cars, a '95 Delsol si, and a '96 Integra se. On the delsol I did this after intake, exhaust, and vtech controller. This made nice difference especially in the mid and lower RPM ranges. These are the only engine mods I did on the Integra. It made a big difference, felt like more than intake and exhaust on the Delsol, and I went from averageing 27 miles per gallon to averaging 30 miles per gallon.

if i take off the p.s. belt, is there something else with the powersteering i should unlplug so the pulleys arent running for no reason?

The power steering belt goes from the crank pulley were your other belts are to the power steering pump. So after you remove the belt your power steering pump is no longer turning, your crank pulley is still turning your other accesories. You can drain the power steering fluid from your rack to make the effort easier, but I don't think this is a good idea as your power steering fluid also acts as a lubricant.

I don't think this will be different on your accord but it might be, just have a look under the hood and check things out.

The top diagram is of the power steering pump, thats the belt I'm talking about. I'm not sure how it is on an Accord, but on Civic's and Integra's that belt just drives the power steering so removing it doesn't affect the AC or alternator. I'm assuming you got these pics from a manual, just follow the directions for replacing the power steering belt, but skip the part about putting the new belt on.

If you do this mod let me know how it turns out.

Yes this looks like the crank pulley.
