Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
Even the same parking space.
Spotted somewhere in Monaco during one of the Grand Prix's as I recall. Edit: Here's the image that shows the full plate - title of the photo confirms 1995 Monaco GP. Car appears identical to the one that was trashed and the last few digits of the plates are a match. Someone from Supercarfrance.com brought this to my attention, but I don't recall whom to give them credit. ![]() >8^) ER Last edited by Peloton25; 06-08-2006 at 10:53 PM. |

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
Hello,
quite hard ! I want to point out different things : 1) And the one in Belgium we spoke about one year ago ? 2) For the red one in Monaco, it's crazy ! Nobody sees it ! Some sources say very different things... two said "4 in Monaco" and another one on Supercarfrance (who works at Casino) said "at Monaco no 911 GT1, no CLK-GTR and no McLaren" He means with Monaco plate. 3) always nothing about Hakkinen F1's ?? It's false ? Chris > Where is announced #075 please ? Erik > the last pic was taken by Phil75, he shoot many F1 in Europe ! Ciao Phil |

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
Here's a couple of old German articles which confirm Thomas Bschers F1chassis no. and suggest the chassis no. of Bernd P's crashed car was around number 30. (The actual test says one of scarcely 30 built)
I hope I'm not posting old news. [img=http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/5476/102431653637376435647ve.th.jpg] [img=http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/7381/102439373965623137646eh.th.jpg] |

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
I just want to put a rumor to rest here. Chris Dawes NEVER owned 071. I have no idea where that rumor started and can't find anything to prove that he did. If anyone has any proof that he did, then show me. But i'm telling you, you won't find any because he didn't own it.

Not saying you are wrong about his ownership, but your logic certainly is. If you know the entire chain of custody, that is a different matter. But you haven't indicated that you do. Do you? If so, just say that he didn't ever own the car. You seem to imply that you don't KNOW this, though. I believe the rumours might have come from Maarten, who has not posted on here in a while. My information seems to indicate that he did own the car that he crashed. And he only had one. Clearly, therefore, it was not 071. |

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
That point has been made several times now actually.
The info of Dawes association with #071 started with someone on SC.net in like 2003 who claimed that the orange F1 in Driving Ambition was his and that it was him pictured with the car once it was completed. I don't recall who said it anymore, but obviously they were not correct. End of story. >8^) ER |

Re: Recap of European F1 Fleet (EXCLUDING England)
The gentleman pictured with 071 in driving ambition, is definitely not Chris Dawes. As I have pics of Mr Dawes on video in police custody.

Hey Patrick,
I think the following will give you enough info: Go to www.google.com. Type in the string "BMW museum München". Hit enter. |

![]() You'll recall that the caption for this photo in DA identifies the silver F1 as #002, with the orange one being #075. I have a feeling the car on display at the airport was more than likely #002, and the third photo is just another unknown silver F1 unfortunately. >8^) ER |
