LOL if an ECU isnt VIN specific i dont see how an ETACS comp could possibly be. Although, like Igo said, you should probably get one from the same gen and trim level.

Ive got a 96 3000gt sl,that has had door lock issues since i got it,The OEM remote didnt work,and when you use the key to lock/unlock the car it ratchets back and forth ..mainly on the passengers side lock.Ive pulled the actators,and checked them,Ive metered the switches on both key lock cylinders,and replaced both Door lock relays.The problem persists.Im thinking etacs unit now,as there is supposed to be 5 v fed i believe from the etacs unit to the keyless remote unit,and its way low.....about 1.2 vdc.im beating my head against the wall here...anyone had this problem?
