Re: Fujimi Lexus IS350 finished look
The real IS350 is equipped with either 17in or 18in, depending on the trim, and the kit represents the 18 inch version. The upcoming IS250 kit is supposed to have 17 inch wheels, and the Optional Parts version will have something else.
Assuming that the wheelbase of the model is accurately scaled down, the kit wheel measures approximately 20.5 mm. Subtracting 1 mm to take the flange into account, it's 19.5 mm, or 18.4 inches. The picture is blurry, and the estimate isn't exactly accurate, but I' d still think it's the accurate 18 inch stock wheel. The problem is Fujimi originally started the line of products called "Inch-up" to cope with the negative scale effect, and they used to interpret the wheel size bigger by 1 inch, but somehow they forgot the idea. ![]() The IS350 kit is scheduled to be shipped on June 1st. |
