If he wanted to do that he'd of said this, "I'm pulling troops from Iraq to secure our border with Mexico. Then we're going to hunt down all the illegals in this country and send them home."

The National Guard troops on the border sounds great along with the additional surveillance technology but I do not agree with his guest worker program and anything construed as amnesty.

I didn't listen to the speech, nor would I ever waste my time.

If you listened to any of the "conservative" talk radio shows and even FM morning shows they all were blasting the president and his stupid amnesty law. Which in effect bring in somewhere around 193 illegal's, more of less mexican, by 2026.

Can anyone say New World Order is starting to take more and more effect.

He's not getting any support from Congress for amnesty, because they know we'll fry them back here in their districts if they give it any support.

You hear a lot of people decrying the thought of a wall on the border, but I think that's because they know it actually might do some good. At least that will be a choke point to slow them down so we can catch them more easily.

So far, the use of National Guard troops on the border is the first sensible thing to come out of GW's mouth the entire time. The next best step is to give them "shoot on sight" orders. That's what we'd do for an invasion, and this is darn close to it.

It's time for El Presidente Fox to take some responsibility for this damn mess, too.

Bush is a pathetic excuses for a president or any elected official. The dude spits and sputters more during a speech than any president I can remember. He lies about Iraq, Halliburton making millions off of you and I (I’m sure Dick likes that) Gas companies are getting record profits and the rich just got another tax break Thanks to the every day person like you and I.

Ignoring the boarder = BAD
Halliburton = GOOD
Offering amnesty to illegals = BAD
Record Profits = GOOD
Not rounding up illegals and shipping them home = BAD
Speach impediment = WHO CARES (Lets dismiss Hawkings for speaking funny too)
Failure to build a wall = BAD
