Bosch high-temp silicones are in my rig. When I tune up every 32K miles/2 years - the lifetime warranty on them is great. I shove the wires and my last reciept over the desk at the parts monkey and they get me a fresh set. And to think I only paid for the first set....

I worked at a chevy dealer a few years ago in the parts dept.you used to have to buy each plug wire- not as a set. if it's still the same way, & if cash is a problem, just buy the #3 for now & get the rest later

{edit} if you live by a race track you might be able to buy a used set from some racer. They often replace things like very good quality plug wires yearly just to ensure that they won't have any problems.
How about MSD wires...only 40 ohms resistance per foot? thats crazy low...
