4k for a 1g with a built motor isn't bad. Did he give you any details on the rebuild?

And the engine isn't "sick" unless the guy built it with stronger internals while he had it apart. If it was just a standard rebuild then its not a "sick" engine. When your running 10's, then it'll be "sick"
