It's a shame that some of the mold lines are still visible; you're doing a cracking job on the painting and it seems a shame that you missed some of them.

Looking very very nice!
The interior and engine are nicely detailed. I know the instructions say to paint the sides of the intake manifold gloss black but i think they look better silver. Is that possibly an error in the instructions?

Yes, i have this kit on the backburner. You've given me some inspiration. I just don't want to stuff it up, the F40 is a legendary car.

Keep the progress going, i want to see what this looks like all together

1986 Z28, 400ci SBC, Twin borg warner billet S467 turbos, Reid case powerglide, Moser 9". Holley EFI, Boost Leash. 950RWHP on pump gas, 1200rwhp on race gas (22 psi)

Best ET 1/4: 8.35 @ 170mph (275 drag radial)
Best ET 1/8: 5.44 @ 132mph (275 drag radial)
Best 60': 1.31 on the back tires (275 drag radial)

Are the wing mirrors painted? I ask because they seem to be a lighter colour than the rest of the body.

Yes the mirrors are painted.... but i don't use primer on it... i forgot it... and the result is that the colour is a little bit different... u are right...

i am looking your carrera gt ... great... i got it on the stockpile waiting to be assembled! i will look your wip closely!
