Re: Finished: Tamiya BMW Z3
Nice to clear those stalled projects off the bench, isn't it? Very nice and clean build. The color match looks very accurate as well.

Re: Finished: Tamiya BMW Z3
Thanks everyone. Yeah, it always feels great to finish a stalled project. The 'James Bond Blue' has always been my favorite color on the Z3. Now, I guess back to work on the other superdetailed builds parked on my bench, to make sure they don't stall....
![]() Welcome to AF, teamanila. CSC is a cleaner/degreaser that can be appearently found in Walmart in North America. It's also AF shorthand for any high alkalyne biodegradable cleaner/degreaser that can be used to safely strip paint from plastic. The stuff I used is actually called 'Purple Power', and I got it form an auto parts store. There's more about it in the FAQ, and even more to be found by doing a search. It's been discussed alot lately.

Re: Finished: Tamiya BMW Z3
That's a tidy example of a Z3. The paint looks very nice!
![]() I have the same kit "stalled" on my workbench. You've just given me the inspiration to finish it! I just have to find something to replace those truck-like wheels that come in the kit Your BBS ones do the job nicely!
