Re: Urgent!! Short Throw Shifter Install

I just installed a short throw shifter on my civic the other day. I got a B&M short throw. It came with all the bushings. The one you got should have come with bushings for the piece inside the shifter at the bottom and some for the sides when you rebolt it to the shift linkage. Also as for the shifter height do you have the pivot point all the way in the rubber shift seat (i forget the technical name for it)? If you don't have it in where it should be or if it's not even in there all the way that could be why it's scraping the heat shield.
