Re: 56XP GT pics!

Bucciali says there are a few more pics of rather high resolution, showing xp56 gt at goodwood. These came about late last year.

Please, someone could help me to find them?

THANKS TO ALL THE FRIENDS OF THE FORUM

Well some say that Brunei never got a GT, but yes that other interior shot almost certainly comes from 54F1GT. I was suprised to see that in there because it had always been assumed that the brochures were made when 56XPGT was completed, and per the chassis history chart 54F1GT and 58F1GT came later in the build process, after the longtail GTRs.

Re: 56XP GT pics!

Just see this F1 GT brochure on Ebay,

Comes with a personally signed letter, sent by Gordon Murray himself !! Must be to somebody of importance, for Gordon to send this brochure himself.

Here,s the link.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/McLaren-F1-GT-...QQcmdZViewItem

Albert 68, Sorry for duplicating the pic, I have found the other pics of GT,s. Will digitize and post them tomorrow.

Many thanks Eric, For the interior shot clarification.

Re: 56XP GT pics!

Is the same car 54F1GT in the brochure and in Driving Ambition? And what color is 54F1GT? Black? Or the same green color as 56XPGT?

Re: 56XP GT pics!

Does anybody know if McLaren paints the cars themselves now (now that they have MTC) or do they still use another bodyshop?

Another shop, although they changed which shop they use as the previous one closed about two years ago.
