Outside of armed prostitutes and serial killers how is Daytona Beach. If it's like New Orleans (a nice place to party but shitty to live in) then I'm there for a weekend.

then go. tampa can be like that and FSU definitely is, but yeah, it's a fun weekend. Just gets real touristy which can really really suck.

I don't really know much about the Daytona party scene because I'm not even 18 yet. No clubs for me. I'm sure it's fun for the weekend.

I just go over there to shop. Or if I feel like driving around. The actual beach is shitty, I go to the nude beach at this wildlife reserve in New Smyrna. There's never anyone there...

Yeah, just sent my housing contract back a few days ago.

And yes, I'm in favor of the nude beach thing. I only go topless when I go, and I only do that when there's nobody around. I'm still working up the courage...

All the foreigners I work with have the discussion all the time...they're all for it.

I probably only will for the first year. I'm sort of broke right now, and I'll turn 18 a week before I move...my parents aren't too excited about me getting an apartment on my own.

there are like a thousand and one off campus dorms/affiliated apartments. plus The Towers which are really nice. they're on campus but not considered on-campus therefore no on-campus rules apply. thats where i was goin to live next year.

What kind of nude beach is that? I thought the beaches were good thats what Daytona was good for?

Not to big into bike week though my mom went there a few yrs back and had a blast but not for me.

Everyone likes Daytona because you can drive on it, but in my opinion it's actually really dirty. The water's gross and it's always too crowded. Ormond Beach is really nice, and I like New Smyrna. I just like the beach that I go to because there's nothing on the beach, no stands or buildings like at Daytona, and it's always really quiet.
