Re: 300zx progress thread

but i believe that your rear window is curved. cd cases are straight. i know that la customs is doing something wierd w/ his escort project. he is going to do windows somehow. maybe you should pm him aobut it.

Re: 300zx progress thread

Don't nees to. Take a old cd case and put a lit lighter under it. It'll curve like hell. Just need to keep it a little bit further from the plastic so it wont burn or something. I already made crystal tails that way so I know what I'm talking about.

Cheers.

Re: 300zx progress thread

@amnes okay cool. yeah i was thinking if you put like a hair dryer to it then it should bend. i remember when my dad was installing a wood kit in the car you use the hair dryer to bend the wood becaue the wood is cut out onto a flat sheet.

Re: 300zx progress thread

Yep, though a hair dryer has too cool air for thick cd case plastic.

Yep it's cut out. I don't want those "ribs" in the side vents, and I want to pull the lip out a little bit to the front.

As you can see it's a bit deeper than the rest of the bumper, so it'll be even. School has ended for this week so I hope to work on the rims.
