Seriously, how do you do that!

And thanks to everyone for the replies!
Guess I've been too many times, though sadly not on that occasion. Loved to have seen that thing romp up the hillclimb!

Re: Eighties Contest Entry: The 1988 Dakar's Vatanen killer: DAF 95 Turbotwin X1

Time for a mini-update:

I added the rear quarter to the cab's sidepanel, and marked the rear recess to be cut out later. I also made the lower part of the door (still a bit too big, but i'd rather cut it when it's attached to the panel. Above that is the little strip that is supposed to shallow the gap between the two. It would have been easier to cut the bottom half of the door to the right thickness, but the result was way too flimsy for me, so I decide to make a thicker panel and fill the gap somehow. A strip will also be added to the rear of the panel, as it is present on the real thing (shown below)

Hardly any. The project is in the freezer right now: I'm currently hard at work on my 1:1, a '72 DAF 55.

HI!
Are there any updates to this ?
Or are you working in your DAF variomatic ?

A Question; would you happen to have 3D CAD drawings of any of the DAF Dakar Rally trucks ?
