The next problem that i think i saw on your car too is the scratches on the windows from the motors does anyone know where i can get those and any experience taking them out...

that scratch is not from the motor man.. inside the door panel, there are 2 cloth part tocuhes the window when the window goes up and down. mine is broken but just one and thats why it scrached my window. today l found out the scrach was from that litte metal part.. yours could be that too.. didnt u see any metal parts broken or sticking out?

Re: l had a match with POWER WINDOW today!!!

ya, the battery is two bolts, lol and alternator is easy to, byt why replace them when there is nothing wrong with them? Because it will be every bit of $200 for both, that is doing it your self.

Re: l had a match with POWER WINDOW today!!!

do this, replace the battery, then have auto zone or someone put a meter on the battery and it tells you if the alternator is putting out enough volts or not.

Take the car to AutoZone.

They can check your charging system and tell you what is wrong.
Don't pay unless you know for sure!!

Re: l had a match with POWER WINDOW today!!!

with the guys i see walking around the garage that are so call "fixing" car. I saw this one kid take a tire off the rack and throw it across the room like a fresbie. And they had my moms jeep and they did a oil change and for got to put the oil drain plug on all the way, and all the oil got out and we saw it in the mirror, and they put oil back in it and the rod started knocking. And they had my dads car and JANKED the oil dip stick out and broke the handel off and the metal peace fell back in to the pan. They are so dumb there.

Re: l had a match with POWER WINDOW today!!!

I'm not defending Wal-mart here, because they suck something aweful, but the new dipsticks anymore suck. I've had them break off and do that exact same thing and I was by no means manhandling it, inless taking it out to check it is manhandling. Anyway, Wal-mart "techs" get like $7 an hour no matter what, so they tend to be slow and not the best in quality or knowledge as noone with any skill or talent can live on $7 an hour.

Re: l had a match with POWER WINDOW today!!!

i worked there a few years ago, after 2 months i was the auto shop manager, there were people in the shop that were there for 3 years, but they never had any drive, or any real vehicle knowledge, i spent 3 hours trying to explain suck-squeeze-bang-blow to a guy, and he still didn't get it, i'd personally never bring my car there for anything, but a free battery test, who could screw that up, all they could do is reverse the connections, and the machine just tells them it's wrong, fool proof.
