If you want to screw MoRex find someone who will buy or has bought from MotRex then post the copy of the paper that you give to DOT on the internet. It's bastardly but cheap

Lightbulb It will be done....

Great comments, and also I beleve the support will be there when needed. I actually found this board while searching for another alternative to import JDM spec cars. The funny thing is, ive been looking into starting up my own shop for the sole purpose of importing JDM cars.. Its not easy, but it can be done. I think everyone who replys to this message, is true to the core about imports, no matter if they are in support, or unbelief that it is possible. I think anything is possible, but things dont happen over night. You guys are moving in the right direction though, and I will keep presuing to see weather or not it could be pheasible, to start a buisiness in importing JDM spec cars. I am persuing avenues of approach with possible established shops, to see if maybe it can be done (with a possible partnership) there are many options available here guys, but just remember we all would benifit if the cars were made here......but then we wouldnt want JDM if they were...

Re: It can be done...

This topic is almost three years old. Even after all that time, no real headway has been made. Think about that for a moment.

as great as it would be to be able to go down to the local nissan dealership and buy a r34 gtr, it aint gonna happen. and this crazy idea of raising and spending like what seems to be conservatively half a million dollars so we can save $25000 on a skyline by not having to go throu motorex? ubsurd!! i mean if it could be done i'd be all for it but i mean come on lets be realistic, it aint gonna happen. i doesnt matter how many of us write an petition and what kind of demonstraions we put on, or how many nissan salesman we bother in Podunk for a skyline, nissan isnt gona magically start making a vehicle they no longer produced in a hemisphere they never produced it in!!

Sorry guys but reality bites!

Yeah, still sounds EXTREMELY "ubsurd"

Evolution Imports has been mentioned several times before, do a search on it. It is a scam site. They bait people who have no idea (cough) about what can and can't be brought into the US into purchasing one and then take off with the money.

Here's their Better Business Bureau report:

Look at the site, it's an obvious scam sight. A PO Box for an address (no physical address), toll free number and most likely a cell phone for a "local" number. NEVER trust sending money to a site without a physical address, let alone $20K+!

Look at the BBB report, they have three different addresses, two easily leased/abandoned for scams.

Still seem more affordable when you send them the money and don't get anything?
