The pump is about 2" away from the driveshaft. Plenty of room. There is no way the driveshaft will move up or down right there unless something breaks. It was the only flat area I could find under there that actually looked like a decent place to mount it!

Everything is pretty much the way it is going to be when I race it. Except for the roll cage, everything is done. I will probably keep the stock exhaust on it for now, due to street use and driving back and fourth to the dyno. I will be running a 5" exhaust off the turbo directly out the drivers side in front of the front tire. I want it to be as free flowing as possible. Then when I want to drive it on the street I can just re-attach the stock exhaust or my custom 3" I have for it and not have to worry about noise.

As for the fuel filter... Like Kevin said, it is in the 2nd pic and it has "FLOW --->" marked on it.

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

Shit, 117 was 9.50 last year up from 8.25 the year before. I hope it didn't go up again! I only use ~1 gallon per trip to the track, but it still adds up somehow...

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

Yeah... I might end up putting in 93 or so, maybe 105 or 110 that is a little cheaper for driving to and from the track. I dont really want to trailer it but I might be forced to. Its more impressive to drive to the track, run a 10 then drive home and thats how I want it done. Its so easy to drain the tank now that I wouldnt mind putting in 93 or so just to get me to and from the track, then using 119 when I get there.

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

Well the fuel setup is complete. Motor is in, then I decided to rewire the whole car. I dont know what I was thinking.

Then I decided to rewire the car.

No more fuse box or wiring in the engine bay. Turned out pretty decent.

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

I'm scared to touch the wiring in mine... Its confusing enough already... Although I will be doing some rewiring too, just not the whole car.

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

The wiring wasnt that bad. I got it done in about 8hrs. The thing that killed me was I hadnt slept in 2 days so I sat and stared at the wires for a good 1.5-2hrs trying to figure out how I was going to do it. After I got going it was smooth sailing.

The cage gets here next week and I'm picking up some new seats this weekend. Cant wait to get to the dyno!

Re: 1000hp fuel setup. (56k WARN)

What turbo??

I have a PTE T67 that I was going to use until I came across this PTE T70. Rated 100hp more than the T67 so I decided to use that and am selling my T67 to my buddy.

The car will start tomorrow. Pressurized the fuel system tonight, everything is wired except my coil on plug setup I have to finish then adjust fuel settings in DSMLink for the 1600cc injectors and start it up.

The exhaust was a pain in the ass to weld up. Not much room from the turbine housing to the alternator or oil filter. I made it fit nicely thought. I'll get some more pictures of it tomorrow.
