I don't know a ton about the 3rd gens as a whole.
But most any small block is pretty much the same.

Yea, the big difference would be in the electonics. OBD II vs
OBD IBigPainInTheAss. Just curious...

Depends on how you look at it.
ODBII is harder to tune.

Yea, but I had a computer program for my laptop that I could flash the computer with and program it however I wanted it...that was easier to me. Plus I could read all the goings on in the engine with relative ease. But your right, basic tuning stuff is a lot easier on the 3rd gen...epsecially emissions elimination :-p

Eh...that one is pretty much the same on both ODB and OBDII.

There are MANY more timing/idle tables with the OBDII though. I will get a couple screenshots sometime.
