Are we talking about the factory keyless system? I know of some aftermarket one's that will lock automatically, but I didn't know the stocker acted that way.

yes, the factory one does that...
All though I have a different remote from some random company that overcharged like hell... It programmed into my factory system alarm/door locking mechanism... So yah the factory locking system does do that... Do you have an aftermarket one?

My GST does the same thing. It's happened to me twice (thank god I've always been at home with a spare set of keys in the house). I ALWAYS make sure I take my keys with me now.
