yep, and even though he was like "yeah i lost like 7 grand in parts under the hood when they towed it" the only hitnk i knew about was intake, exaust, headers, and cams... and it was a 4cyl... all of that totals to like 1 grand.

they arent slow. Compared to say an s2000 you can get a new GT v6 just as fast or faster for less money. Problem is wheel hop, understeer, and torque steer are horible on the things. sapposed to improve greatly with new motor mounts and some stiffening of the chassis. Still, running form the cops in a 4cyl with maybe 1grand of mods is retarded...and none where suspension. Ive heard of GTi's wuth good suspension and minimal performance kill cops through urban areas because crown vics handle like boats.

basically if you are going to run from the cops the only place you need lots of power is the interstate or large highways. everwhere else its driving skill and suspension.

That thing understeers like a corolla. I tested that out today haha. All I can say is that when I get home the Mustang will feel like a ferarri compared to this thing.

lol. i do have to agree on the suspention things and 1g in parts wont help running away in a 4cyclinder, but the thing hyundai lacks is what the 'real enthusiest' needs. the suspention sux. handling sux over 60mph....(maybe too high) gas milage sux for the v6s.

i understand the GTi's, since they are light, nimble, and great handling machines from the box...but a lone tiburon? thats like running away from a vic in a Monte Carlo...big bulky, only good on the straights...
