those are wise words. credit cards=financial prison.

also, if at all possible, stay away from student loans in undergraduate school as much as possible...which may not be possible depending on how much alberta costs and your financial situation. i've been lucky enough to have a really good job that i can come home to every summer and make enough money to pay for my next two semesters, but that's just really important to me because i'm planning on going on to optometry school after i get a bachelor's degree and i don't even want to think about the huge amount of student loans i'll have piled on after 4 years of optometry school.
just know that any money you pay now, means all the less that you're going to have to pay later...with interest.

Here's a geography lesson: I live in Ely, Nevada. No, that's not by Vegas, it's not hot like Vegas, it's not a desert wasteland like Vegas. I live at 6500 ft. I'm surrounded by mountains. It's really cold in the winter, and never gets above 100 in the summer.

Wow, I must have written that while I was

I don't know too many guys fresh out of highschool who are not irresponsible. Better safe than sorry, stay away from the cards. An irresponsible person probably won't even realize that's what they are until too late.
