Re: ecm location

Finally i did foun used ecu for a 150$ ,it did fix my problem. As far as dealerships did call few of them when i wes in doubth to findin used one and what struck me was a big differences in price , highest 662 $ lowest 534$ (same part) within a 10 miles radius. Tell me WHY IS THAT? Putting the car into diller shop u get 95 % chances to get ripped off, and i know from the little experience that dealers not always can fix problems correctly but always charge a bunch for their work.

Re: ecm location

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but the Nissan dealership near me is awesome. I think it just REALLY depends on the management. The head guy at my place actually cares about Nissans. He's got a freakin nice supercharged 2003 Maxima 3.5 6-speed.

Re: ecm location

nissandoc this is your only free thread, after this you will have to wear a flame suit everytime you post and i read, Ive been on these boards for around a year now and anything sr20 related or b13-b14 related i would ask fugiot before i would ask anyone else.....the man could be a dropout for all i care the man knows sentras at least, just because you work at a stealership gives you the right to start picking fights? Ive owned my b15 for almost the same amount of time as my forum membership and i wouldnt trust anyone more than myself and the 3 sentra boards im a member of to take care of my car, trying to figure out a problem is the way to start learning your car, not having the dealership tell you whats wrong, and anyone worth their salt should be able to work on what they drive, you sir are an asshat.....youre going to join redsentra94 on my flame list if you cant play nice

Re: ecm location

It was uncalled for, but we shouldn't fan a flame that's already dying out.

Re: ecm location

may be he didnt like that we called him a ricer for rocking the nos tank style sub, and wanting his 110 hp sentra to be slow with a kit and a sub. oh well his loss.
