Beautiful clean build Dave - what we expect from you but always nice to see. 1.1 ride must look killer in the flesh.

Re: COMPLETE: 427 Cobra Replicar

Looks great! No one should ever say again, you can´t make a perfect model from a Revell kit.
You´ve chosen a very unusual colour, but i like it. Different, less shiny wheels would make it look even more realistic. Maybe a light washing?

Like I said before, this is the car I tried to replicate in the pic below... the wheels are not dirty, and they are high lustre polished aluminum, almost like chrome plating... this is what I tried to achive.... I did put a black wash in the lug nut holes. BUt if I black washed the wheels, they simply would have looked "Dirty" in my opinion.

Thanks again everyone!!!

Did you take those Mustang wheels OOB, or did you strip them and used Alclad? "Polished Alu" or "Stainless steel" looks only a bit different to Kit-chrome-parts but in a way much better, thinner, covering less detail.

That is the kit chrome which was very good imo.... Alclad chrome would never look as shiny as those 1:1 wheels in my opinion....
