Re: Truck Of The Year "Not"
as for the guy that said his domestic vehicles all died at under 75k miles, i dont know of anyone else with that problem. My dad sold his 90 silverado with a 350 and a 700r4 a few years ago and had done no work on it, just oil changes and stuff. he never flushed the rearend and had the tranny filter and fluid changed once or twice. It was still running strong at 180 thousand miles. granted it smoked a little at startups in the morning, but other than that, the only other problem was the radio that had to be smacked a few times to turn on lol

Re: Truck Of The Year "Not"
I looked this up and thought I would present just data. This data is a bit dated, but does give a picture of what has historically been the case with REPORTED problems. Now I'm sure most have seen this data, and will not sway anyone, but it is interesting to see. Now let's be civil.
Consumer Reports 2002 Report Most Reliable based on reader responses for 1994-2001 vehicles Small car Toyota Echo Sporty car Toyota Celica Sports car Honda S2000 Family car Infiniti G20 Large car Toyota Avalon Upscale car Infiniti I35 Luxury car Lexus GS300/430 Coupe Acura CL Small SUV Subaru Forester Midsized SUV Infiniti QX4 (best overall) Large SUV Toyota Land Cruiser Compact pickup Toyota Tacoma Large pickup Toyota Tundra Minivan Toyota Sienna Top Picks Best car tested BMS 530i Most fun to drive Subaru Impreza WRX Family sedan/wagon VW Passat Small car Honda Civic EX "Green" car Toyota Prius Upscale sports sedan BMW 330i Small SUV Toyota RAV4 Midsized SUV Toyota Highlander Pickup truck Toyota Tundra Minivan Honda Odyssey Most Reliable Manufacturers U.S. Chrysler Group with 22 problems per hundred vehicles. European Saab with 14 problems per hundred vehicles Japanese Toyota and Subaru with 12 per hundred then Honda and Nissan with 14. J. D. As for the foreign vs American made, I don't want to even get into that. I personally drive American, but won't argue the fact that the quality standards are not on par with the Japanese. If we'd ever figure that out, we may be able to keep some of our own plants open and keep ourselves employed...

Re: Honda does not build a truck
Why do all of the Toyota trucks say TURD racing on the side? I didn't even know that was a race. I'm not going to see that.

Re: Truck Of The Year "Not"
You guys are funny!!!
I really like Chevy and not just there trucks. I do watch the competitors and they all have something to offer. However the Honda does not make a truck, the Ridgeline is like the El-camino or the Ford Rancho. it doesn't it pass as a 1/2ton. So what ever Motor Trend is smoking.. I want some!!!!
