Knife edge the lip, then work back toward the plate. It should look like a funnel when you get done (air velocity increases in a funnel). It is too late for me to go out to the shop and take pics, sorry . You can also pick up a few cfm by doing the half-shaft mod. It's an old carburetor trick, but it will work on your throttle body. Google it.
