Well this is the basic VBulleting look. so I guess it's just because they didn't had time to change it yet.

Also, they have many image not working (forum wise) that need to be updated.

The "new" look is very generic imo. It look like someone that installed the forum but didn't configured it.

I can't figure out the search either. It used to work great, now it takes you somewhere that seems to be out of the site, linked back to AF, and when you click it it's just a list of all the threads ever, not just the ones with "Testors Metalizer" in them.

yeah im not to hot on this,didnt mind the last change but this looks like a gaming forum. its got no soul. theres no jumpback link at the bottom of the page, that sucks. so now when i read a thread i have to scroll back to the top of the page to get back to the forum list. and the search sucks.... sorry not a big fan of change, ive had enough in the past year.

Well, I'm an old, conservative fart so I abhor ALL change by definition but I've got to say that, so far, I don't get it.
Looks bland, the columns are requently different widths on my screen which makes it hard to read and it downloads like c**p on my GSM phone which I use a LOT
I'm sure that there were good reasons for the change, though and that any bugs will be ironed out soon.
(PS Isn't it easy to dump on other people's hard work )

This is a real pain - hopefully it's something that can be added.

Haven't tried the new search feature yet that some people don't like, but generally I like the new look. Looks more 'standard' to other forums out there.

No, still not impressed. I don't like that you can't seem to do a forum specific search (well, except it might be nice not to have "Use the search funcion, newbie!" rants). I don't like that you can't post a description when posting links. I don't like that when inserting pics, the pic instantly appears in the post, instead of the address. And performance today has been abysmal!

I'm willing to accept that things are still being worked on and worked out, and I'll be as patient as I can- but it's always frustrating when an 'upgrade' leaves you with less than you had before.
