Challenger is DCX's response (fine, Mopar since the challenger name is from back in teh day) to the Mustang, just like the f-bodies were GM's responce.

The 4100 lb estimate is based off the Charger since they are both on the LX platform.

Didn't see th video but I know road&trackis in deeeeep shit for releasing that before Monday, that's why It's shut down now.

Looks like a cheap rendition of half Dodge half mustang to me

What happened to the signature sporty design and GM look? Sure as heck isn't here! all i see is ford and chrysler when i looked at the pics.

i see no dodge or ford in the pics at all. the only thing the challenger, mustang, and camaroconcept have in common is that they are cars.

if you look back at the muscle cars of the 60s, they all almost looked exactly the same except for maybe the mustang. they all had raised rear fenders and long hoods. and since everyone is going older styling again, then the cars are going to look similar again.

The new mustang looks ALOT like the old shelbys in my opinion. this new camaro concept looks like a retarded version of the chrysler crossfire. DONT get me wrong, i love camaros, but they shoudl stick to a more original design. they should base it off of a early 70's model with the split front bumper. and for the love of christ GM, PLEASE dont make a 6-cyl version!!!!!!!!!!

I AGREE 100%!! I think it screams 67-69 Camaro, look at it!!

Same with the Challenger, it looks like they took a 70(?) Challenger, rounded the edges (a little) and put new wheels on it, AWESOME!!

The new Mustang....different story...it's OK. It's cool cause it looks a little like the old Mustangs but, Ford is still trying to make it look new. Whereas the Camaro and Challenger come out and say "here I am, a brand new 69 Camaro or 70 Challenger. Plus the 05 Stangs interior just looks cheap to me. I've sat in one, it's nice, but does nothing for me. I hate to say it but, if I had my choice, I'd take the Camaro over the STang.....PLUS IT HAS A PUSHROD, INSTEAD OF THAT DAMN MODULAR!!

^^not everyone wants a v8. if they only sold v8, it wouldnt sell very well. fuel efficient v6s sells cars.and i dont see where you pull crossfire out of that

Uh...Dude....it looks like the 67-69 Camaro. How more original can they get? I do see where you might see the Crossfire in the short deck in back, but come on, look at it and a pic of 67-69 Camaro. You will see what I mean.

all I think is look what they did with the new corvette its the nicest one yet, they didnt try to bring back the look of the stingray. all I think is they were on to something with the 4th gen camaro.

what are they doing with the motor I didnt hear about that yet.

ya im wondering what the price is going to be....im hoping for under 30 posibly 25 that would be nice....I think it looks first genish....that front deffinately needs to go they need to open the grill up and make the front flatter...its a wholelot bigger than the other years...and they didnt fix those damn mirrors but hopefully they will before and if it goes into production...

they have got to keep it under thirty grand if they want to compete with anything.27-28k would be great for the z28
