Last time I had a business(?) trip to the U.S. in Feb., a store was asking 18.00 for the Revell Integra. (how could a revell car kit be 18.00?!) That's more than Japanese retailers are asking, so I didn't buy one.
But, since so many people seem to have the kit, I should go get one today just to see how good the kit is.

Geez. Did you go to a rip-off store or what? Where was that?

hiro - My local hobby shop owner priced the Integras in his store the same way - $17.95. It's such a popular kit that people still buy it despite the price - they don't know better.

daggerlee: That's most likely the store I went. It's on the Market St. in downtown, isn't it? (I visit Exton, PA twice or three times a year because of my job.)
And just when I decide to go buy the kit today, it was sold out. I've gotta go to another store, which stock imports, tomorrow.

A-ha! Yes, it's the same store. He (Capelli) has got quite the monopoly on hobby stores in this region. Pretty much everything in his store is overpriced but there are a few steals to be found. And the selection of kits/hobby tools can't be matched.

If you're looking for another store, there's a shopping complex on Delaware Avenue, near Snyder Avenue, with a Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Old Navy, A.C. Moore, among other stores. The Wal-Mart and A.C. Moore carry Revell kits, but they're usually sold out of the Integra - I did get mine from A.C. Moore for $12-13.

There's also a hobby shop at the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey called Allied Hobbies that carries the Integra for $14 or $15.

I'am about 50% done.
The mods include: (If its written in Capital letters, It isnt on the model yet but is ready to be when its time comes)
Ground FX
Over wheel fenders
Intercooler
Turbo
Nitrous Oxide (NOS)
HINDGED BOOT
WORKING SPEAKERS IN BOOT
bucket seats
Extra gauge (for NOS?)
Widened Intercooler (hole?)
A bonnet holder upperer which goes down
Side Skirts
Hood scoop (which serves not much of a purpose)
CUSTOM PAINT (METALIC NAILPOLISH WHICH GOES FROM BLUE TO GREEN)
and theres the extra kit customisation parts which arnt anything special.

It is still in the putty stage, so the mods that go on after primer, and paint obviously arnt on.
Ill have update pics hopefully tomorrow night. (No, not scans :finger: )

I dont have pics yet but I'm about to converge my ITR to a real working 1/24 scale RC so I can have something to drift with.

I have 1 revell ITR, 3 fujimi ITR Type-Rs and a fujimi Mugen ITR. the Mugen is in the painting stage, 2 of the type-Rs are done and the other one is being rebuilt to make the spoon version. I just bought the revell ITR so I can make resin copies of the engine one engine for my spoon ITR, one for my EG civic, one for my EK civic... okay getting off topic here sorry.

I have 2, one that is for show and one for racing. Sounds like everyone else is getting ripped. My local Wally-World has tem for $10.98US + tax and have like 15 on the shelf. Thinking of getting another one just for fun and see what happens.....maybe 4X4? That would be a fun conversion. i'll post pics of my two tomorrow. its like 1:06 A.M. here.
