Re: heeeeeeeelp!

that auction really sky rocketed... nice rims and all but didn't want to pay over $800. Although I do have some good news, i found a guy that is willing to work on it. So with luck i'll be riding before new years. He's somewhere out in Tenennesse.. is that how you spell it? anyway, he's a rim welder/restorator. Crossing my fingers on this one... the only bad news is he doesn't paint. Know of a couple of shops around Miami that could take care of that though. $175 even for the weld... plus $50 shpping total. I'll be taking some pics of my Z with my phone today and have 'em up by later today. C ya tx for the help!

not a bad price if he fixes the wheel and gets it back within specs. good luck!

i didnt expect that auction on those Nismo 350Z wheels to stay cheao for very long. those wheels retail for $650 a piece.

Re: heeeeeeeelp!

The rims off the 350Z Nismo are the Volk TE-37s, I think if my memory serves me right. Been a long day so cant tell you exactly, But they ARE Volk rims. You can order them for a arm and leg, and your first born child through a Nissan dealership, or go out and buy a 350Z and get the rims as part of the package deal, and finance them for about 5 years. Or you could just call Volk and buy them from them for a HELL of lot less than what Nissan wants for them and put the Nismo decals on yourself.

they are not TE-37's, i will tell you that much. TE-37's are a 6 spoke wheel.

i dont think Nismo has anything to do with Ray's either...two totally difference companies. I think Nismo casts their own wheels...

Re: heeeeeeeelp!

K3, I asked a Nismo distributor where they get the Nismo Wheels from, and they were not from Nismo. They were a after market company. Volk believe.
