I wouldnt talk if I hadnt seen it with my own eyes. And it has nothing to do with getting carried away either. Ive seen cylinder walls turnned to swiss cheese, pistons with holes in them, face it. Nitrous is dangerous. I wouldnt use it unless I could afford to rebuild the motor anytime I wanted too. There is just too much that can go wrong.

I bet those problems you saw were with a dry kit. Nitrous is 100% safe. I could easily run a 100 wet shot on my SOHC.

double posting stealthee? what are you doing here on a Saturday afternoon man? I thought I was the only one who had it bad!

well to be honest I dont know if all the motors I saw where from a dry kit but yeah, Im sure some where. I hear alot of both sides. Mostly people who say its safe have never used it and have read alot about it, guys at the track who actually run it all the time also have divided views.
I dont know if its safe or not but Ive seen first hand the damage it can do.
So a wet kit will be safe? what if the fuel solinoid locks up like they usually do, once the A/F guage tells you your going lean its already too late man, damage done.

I rather stray away from it and have my block hit 200,000 miles in one piece.

Um, nitrious and a supercharger don't change your displacement, you'll still be a 3.0L 6cyl...they are forms of boost....which is exactly what the larger v8 NA guys who made that saying up, are bashing...

Re: lonly dsm

Well if you're going to have more power...great...good for you.

If you just suggested that I have no life...simply because I corrected a few of your posts over the last week....that is your own perogative.

I, however, just got off a 14hr work shift, worked on my car in the snow for an hour, watched the Eagles game, and came on here for 15 minutes to wind down, while I make plans for later tonight via AIM. So, while I'm a bit tired, cold, and not in the mood for BS, let's just say if you're going to take offense to a correction, then I suggest you put a little more thought into what you want to say the first time around.
