Re: Silver F1 sale- Taylor and Crawley

I also love that color! It reminds me of Ferrari's grigio alloy. So what's the chassis numer? Also, does anyone have high-res shots of an F1 in that same color? Is that the same color as the car in the shot with two F1s sitting next to each other with the red car on the left? Thanks for sharing Chris.

What does "P.O.R." stand for? It says that next to "Price".

Price on Request...like POA (Price on Asking). At least, that's what I took it to mean. Anyone think it's something different?

you are correct, Price on Request

I have emailed T & C to see if they can furnish us with more details on this light blue F1, like chassis# and any further info / pictures.

As soon as i hear from them (if i do!.....) you guys will be the 1st to know (after me of course!!! )

Re: Silver F1 sale- Taylor and Crawley

I doubt they'll email you back, and they definatley won't tell you the chassis #. When the ad originally was posted the asking price was 918.000GBP, they've now changed that to P.O.R

Re: Silver F1 sale- Taylor and Crawley

Why would they not reveal the chassis number? They want to sell the car, don't they? Or are you saying that the car is not really there and they are just making representations that they have this car when they really don't?

Can somebody advise where this 'well known' shot is as I don't remember seeing it! I also believe that it's more than likely chassis 036. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Here's the shot you're looking for, there's a larger version that floats around too, but I'll have to post that later on:

I would have been even quicker and had the larger version, but someone decided to delete all the photos they had hosted for the forum.

Thanks for the quick response - I have seen this picture before but always thought the car on the right was silver but looking closer it is indeed pale blue. These cars are great - I live in Woking and remember seeing the cars being tested on the A3 and also coming back to the factory in Albert Drive after they had been testing out on the Chobham test track! Best time was when I saw the orange XP1LM going past and it sounded just amazing - the LM has to be one of the best cars in the world! I was reading an old Classic Car magazine article yesterday and Gordon Murray was being interviewed and they asked him what car he would buy if he won the lottery and his choice was one of the LM's - he said these were the best cars in his opinion!

Re: Silver F1 sale- Taylor and Crawley

the 'Recent Transactions' page of dealer Aston Martin of New England lists the light blue one as being sold through them and now residing in Texas.
