At first I ignored him cuz well...it was weird, lol. Eventually I realized he was motioning to shut something on the car, he starting pointing at the hood. So we pulled over and the guy pulled over behind us and I got out the car, closed the hood, and the guy comes running up and says "Hey man your hood was open". I was kinda in shock so I just said "Thanks" and he was on his way. Thats Southern Hospitality for ya.
How did you not know the hood was open? I left mine in the "safety lock postion" one time (not all the way closed but still locked.) and i noticed it the second i got in the car.

Well typically when you drive you do not look straight down at the hood, unless you sit straight up in your seat. But whatever.....

Personally, I knew my hood was up. I could click into the safety position, but not completely close the hood. Had to replace the radiator support to fix the problem. I didn't get around to it for a couple weeks.

Re: What a Moron!

When my I was moving out to Boise I had some guy flashing his lights and hanging his lights out the window yelling for us to pull over, apparently when we got ready to leave the hotel we stayed at my mother forgot to take the set of keys I gave her for the trip out of the trunk when she put her luggage in there.

Atleast they didnt fly out and land somewhere along the road never to be found again. Well, atleast it sounds like you got them from the trunk.
